Active Hope workshop taster

  • Downs Community Farm 190 Old Wells Road Seaford, VIC, 3198 Australia (map)

Want to know what “Active Hope” is all about? Are you working for change in our world? Do you get overwhelmed or exhausted by the various crises we are facing? Do you struggle to feel gratitude? Are you unsure how to process emotions, or find perspective, or even know where to start?

Active Hope workshops provide useful resources that strengthen our motivation, creativity, courage and capacity to respond to challenging issues in our world.

At this taster event at Downs Community Farm, Jane and Samara will give an overview of the Work That Reconnects developed by Joanna Macy, and teach some songs to introduce the spiral of practices that underpin the Work.

A short tour of the Farm will be available at the end of the workshop.

*We will run the full day Active Hope workshop at Downs Community Farm later in the year.

Cost: $20

BYO water and water bottle.

Tea/coffee provided, and participants are encouraged to bring some afternoon tea to share
